120 years of being worthy to serve the suffering

Leadership in medicine, medical education, and health care is more complex in the 21st century than ever before. The medical profession and the country are in need of leadership that is inspiring, insightful, engaging, and humble—leadership that both understands and represents the needs of patients, physicians, medical educators, and trainees. With that in mind, Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society (AΩA) is pleased to announce its 2022 Fellows in Leadership:

The Spring issue of The Pharos is now available. Read about health care in the U.S., new book and movie reviews, and the 2021 AΩA Honor Roll of Donors.

This award recognizes medical schools (and their associated AΩA Chapter) that demonstrate exemplary leadership, innovation, and engagement in fostering an inclusive culture that transforms the ideals of inclusion, diversity, and equity into successful programs that support medical student, house staff, and faculty diversity in service to the community.
