Volunteer Clinical Faculty Award

Clinical faculty in community practices devote much time and effort to teaching students and residents. The Volunteer Clinical Faculty Award honors and recognizes their valuable contributions. This award may be presented annually to up to 5 doctors in each AΩA Chapter in recognition of their indispensable services. Additionally, the VCF awardee may be considered for nomination for AΩA membership as Faculty if the awardee is not an AΩA member.  Nominees must undergo the same Chapter selection process with consideration placed on proven leadership, professionalism, teaching, and clinical skills, and must meet the required AΩA criteria. The Volunteer Clinical Faculty nominees will be in addition to the Faculty selected via the standard nomination process.
